DRIVER'S LICENSE

New residents have 30 days to get a Georgia driver's license after establishing residency.  All fees must be paid in cash.  The Newnan office is open Tuesday - Saturday, 9am - 5pm.  For other locations, visit www.dds.ga.gov.

TAGS/REGISTRATION

Georgia license tags must purchase within 30 days of becoming a resident.  Current registration, title or name and address of lien holder, or copy of lease agreement, proof of insurance, an auto emission inspection (if required) and an odometer reading are required to purchase tags.

The Coweta County Tag Department is located in the County Administration Building at 22 E. Broad Street, Newnan.  770-254-2631.
